The roof slope works for you
For Ukraine the optimal angle is roughly 30–40°, and many pitched roofs fall right in that range.
We install the panels parallel to the slope on aluminium rails. The main task is to fix the structure securely to the rafters or battens without compromising the roof’s watertightness.
We choose the type of mounting after the inspection: the roofing material, the spacing of the rafters and battens, the slope angle and the snow zone all matter.
| Roofing | How we fix it | Feature |
|---|---|---|
| Metal roof tiles | Stud screws with a sealing washer, through the crest of the wave into the battens or a rafter. | no dismantling |
| Corrugated sheeting | Studs or short rails fixed to the sheet and the battens. | minimal parts |
| Ceramic or cement tiles | Roof hooks under the tiles are fixed to a rafter, and we trim the tiles where the hooks come through. | partial dismantling |
| Bitumen shingles | Studs through a solid deck with every penetration sealed. | sealed joints |
| Standing-seam roofing | Clamps that attach to the seam without drilling the sheet. | no piercing |
A pitched roof often already has an angle close to the optimum, so separate tilt frames are usually not needed.
For Ukraine the optimal angle is roughly 30–40°, and many pitched roofs fall right in that range.
Wind load is higher near the roof edges, so we leave a free zone and maintenance access.
Snow slides off the glass surface of panels on a slope more easily than off ordinary roofing.
